Sigurd Grünberger is 30 years old and working it.
MOSSLESS: How did you organise your first few shoots when you started taking fashion photos?
SIGURD GRÜNBERGER: Pretty simple I guess, something like bringing some models to a worn down warehouse and shooting a lot of rolls and polaroids.
ML: How are your shoots organised these days now that you’re shooting for magazines?
SG: There’s a lot more people around, and I try to have a plan before the day of the shoot, but somehow I always seem to make new plans as I shoot.
ML: What’s your favourite set of photographs that you’ve taken?
SG: Still many favourites to do and I’m pretty picky about my own work. But currently my favourite is a story I did for danish magazine COVER in the countryside outside Milano last year.
ML: Some of your photos are very cinematic. What films do you watch for inspiration?
SG: Not sure where this inspiration comes from, I dont watch that many films apart from disaster movies. But I always like pictures that tell a story, so deep down I’m probably inspired by all the movies I’ve seen through the years.
