MOSSLESS: How would you describe your own photos?MELCHIOR TERSEN: Words that come back are often unsane , strange or unhealthy.Projects are always free, non-commissionedThe photos I take reflects my personality, it’s a bit of a sort of CV.one can guess my musical tastes, my state of mind, what excites me and make me bend.I never liked school teachers who interpreted their source texts or works of art.So if his is a particular artist was not thinking of anything in particular in creating it, just that he liked to do that.It amuses me when people interpret my photos according to their vision, looking for meaning.So when I take a picture, there is no concept, I felt the immediate search of a raw situation.This is very primitive as a way to do it wholesale will go, we’ll see what happens. No premeditation.Fuck the world !ML: What attracts you to certain people?MT: Since I’m very nostalgic, I think I’m looking for what I do not know.The youth in particular fascinates me when I see two very young teens kissing, or smoking fags, I find it amazing, I had no teen then, I created it using the pictures.I never owned a home group, then I can understand the communities with a neutral look devoid of moral judgments.I’d rather take pictures of skinheads, religious extremists, that doing a story on sexual deviancy, no moral, no judgments.The difference is necessary and I like it.ML: Which photographers do you admire?MT: The first to have really turned the skull Paar Martin and Tim Barber.Non spectacularity is a key to my eyes, a good photograph can not get tired, it’s like a piece of “Cro-mags”or a blues riff, simple but effective lifetime.I love people like “Peter Sutherland”, “Martin Kollar”, “Peter Best”.And if not younger, I love the world of “ana kras” or serial fashions of “maciek pozoga”.But for me the inspirations come more music like black metal or hip hop, esotericism in general, paint or forums amateur sexe (I have a tumblr with pictures of voyeurism steal).ML: What’s the most fun you’ve had in the last few years?MT: I live in paris, when your no money and no car, and the world of the night did not get excited too, it’s a very boring town.No forest wild, no pets night, in a real conformist attitudes.So have fun as we can, I like messing with dead animals collected in the provinces or take photos with heads and feet of pigs, crabs, squirrel.One of the few things I found damn funny these days, it went in hard gay bars, or in the basement there are mazes in complete darkness, and butt fuck guys suck,it could sperm, you have saupalins across the floor, it’s fun to see the looks of you guys who undresses while thee looks hetero.And the funny thing was last in London or with a friend was stalked and took pictures of foxes at night, it was really damn funny.Animals I love taking the photos at night.
