JUAN CHAO: London is an amazing city, I actually find the shitty weather quite charming.

ML: What’s the best thing about David Lynch?
JC: Apart from the incredible ability to give you something new all the time, I think lynch has created his own individual style as a filmmaker, photographer and painter without really caring what people think.

ML: What do you think of photographers who shoot exclusively digital?
JC: I have nothing against people who prefer digital over film, if someone is a good photographer it doesn’t really matter what medium he uses, it’s a matter of the aesthetic the photographer wants. However I do prefer film for now, but I know there will come a time when film will get so expensive it will be ridiculous to continue shooting with film, if that time didn’t already come.

ML: Will everything be okay?
JC: I don’t think so but it might.
