When I finally got my camera ready they were all gone, but for my surprise a few seconds later this horse came galloping out of nowhere. It was a magical moment.ML: What kind of stories are you trying to tell with your photos? A lot of them follow people, almost voyeuristically.AS: I always carry my camera with me, so my pictures are part of my story. I don’t see myself as a voyeur but more like an observer. While I’m shooting I try to perceive reality through the lens of the camera, so my pictures are my point of view.ML: What films have you made?AS: My first and only film (until now) is called Our Necessity For Comfort and it was co-directed by Marco (my best friend). It’s a brief reflection about time and life seen through two moments of our mother’s lives and it’s inspired by the essay of the Swedish writer Stig Dagerman Our Need For Consolation Is Impossible To Satisfy. This short film was recently shown at IndieLisboa - an International Independent Film Festival. Now we are working on our second short film called “wild horses”.ML: What’s better: Photography or Cinema?AS: That’s a tough question. The way I feel it,  photography and cinema are all about love, and I’m completely in love with both.
